Established in 1985, the Matero Main Adventist Youth Ministry has been a beacon of hope and spiritual growth for young people in Lusaka and beyond. Our ministry is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, social, and personal development of youth through Christ-centered programs and activities.
We believe in the potential of every young person to become a leader in their community and a faithful disciple of Christ. Our comprehensive youth programs cater to different age groups, from children to young adults, ensuring that each individual finds a place to belong, grow, and serve.
Through our various ministries including Adventures, Pathfinders, Ambassadors, and Young Adults, we provide opportunities for spiritual growth, skill development, leadership training, and community service. Our mission is to lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and help them embrace His call to discipleship.

Matero Main Adventist Youth Ministry officially established with 15 dedicated young people under the leadership of Pastor James Mulenga.
Pathfinder Club launched with initial enrollment of 25 pathfinders. First investiture ceremony held with church leadership.
First youth-led evangelistic series conducted in the community, resulting in 15 baptisms and establishing our reputation for outreach.
Adventurers program introduced for younger children, expanding our ministry to include ages 6-9.
Ambassadors program established for older youth, focusing on leadership development and community service.
Youth center construction completed, providing dedicated space for youth activities and programs.
Young Adult Ministry launched to serve professionals and young families, completing our comprehensive youth ministry structure.
Celebrating 40 years of youth ministry with record participation of over 150 active youth members across all programs.
